Over the last month, LAT have embarked on a new frontier. We have been providing site engineering and GIS solutions to Greenland’s largest infrastructure projects - the new airports being constructed in Nuuk and Ilulissat.

We have been appointed by Munck Civil Engineering, a subsidiary of Munck Gruppen A/S - one of Denmark’s largest construction and civil engineering organisations, to provide expert geospatial services for a short term project. Being recognised as a global leader in site engineering and GIS analysis, this has allowed us to provide timely and accurate spatial data to help develop and accelerate the projects forward.

Working alongside a multinational team, we have embedded ourselves within the project decision making team and are making a defined impact.

From setting out concrete foundations for the new approach lights, drone flights to monitor project progression, 3D GPS models to assist with machine control, to stockpile calculations that allow accurate mass-movement earthworks.
